I fail to see what all the fuss is about with this expensive 'add on' ...? and why anyone would actually pay for it is a mistery.
Sure it's easy to install, easy to configure and does a couple of extra 'tricks' when it comes to switching your 'already' open applications but ...
... DON'T BELEIVE THE HYPE !! - there's so much it doesn't do - for example:
• you can't add 'hard' applications to always appear in the switch window.
• the default background is hard-fixed at a width of 5 icon spaces (i.e. the transparent background width is set in stone at a width of 5 'open' applications, even if only 1 or 2 or 3 applications are actually open and looks ugly).
If you're already used to Mac OS X's 'apple-tab' feature when switching app's and the extra things it can already do - such as holding down the apple-key and pressing to Q to quit, this thing is a waste of time.
Dont' bother ... if it was free or even had a price tag of $5 then maybe ... but it seems like this tiny extra is aimed at Mac OS 9 die-hards who haven't really mastered the current effects of Mac OS X.

if you don't see the point, it may be you just don't work in a way that makes something like LiteSwitch helpful; by the principle of your review, a blind person might rate binoculars as useless ...Friday, July 28 2006 @ 05:53 PM PDT

I am visually impaired and use the Zoom feature in Universal Access all the time on an Apple 21" display. Try this will the Apple Application switcher:Zoom the display to 2x.
Look at any part of the display, other than the center.
Press Command Tab.
Try to move the cursor to the middle of the screen so that all open applications may be viewed.
YOU CANNOT DO IT.
With LiteSwitch you can!
Having been visually impaired from birth, I just love it when someone else decides what I need. I pray to God that there will always be someone out there willing to take the time to develop products that may help someone in life.
