be VERY CAREFUL using this software. When I was encrypting a folder with all my personal journal files, IT DELETED THE ENTIRE FOLODER after telling me there was an error with the encryption process. I was trying to make it a self-encrypting file and I ticked the box to "delete original" -- all perfectly fine choices IMO. But instead of protecting my files from prying eyes I've now made that no one will ever see my most intimate thoughts, including me. I'll have to be philosophical about this unless someone can suggest a way to recover them, but just in case you try and do this yourself, PLEASE BE CAREFUL and back it up somewhere first.
