According to the Developer, will not work on Power Mac G4 PowerPC G4. Although the Developer is responsive, they are unable to resolve this problem at the current time. Future releases may address this crash issue.

Just to add more info on this topic: Media Indexer will work on G4-based computer, but they'll need Mac OS X 10.4.Hope this helps,
