Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

This seems to want me to go choose a menu option every time I need a password filled in. No thanks. Looks like maybe setting up "profiles" might make it so I don't have to choose form the menu every single time, but I can't run the extra standalone editor app since I'm on Panther. Looks like my quest for Camino-style keychain integration from within Firefox continues.

...also, doesn't do anything in Firefox - mkupietz

I justdiscovered that even choosing the menu options to use the saved passwords doesn't actually do anything. Zero stars.

doesn't autofill; no thanks - Roustem Karimov

Thanks for trying 1Passwd and thanks for the feedback!

First of all, unfortunately 1Passwd does not support Panther; Tiger (10.4) is required. We really wanted to support panther but we rely on some features in Tiger. We are looking into adding a OS version check into the DMG file so we can prevent this confusion in the future.

As for AutoFill, you need to define your identities first using the stand-alone Cocoa application. Since you're on Panther, you couldn't finish this step, so we had nothing to AutoFill. 1Passwd does *not* use the Address Book like Safari and Camino becuase we also fill other information like credit cards, etc.

Any further comments or suggestions for improvement are welcome.

Thanks!
