What about the key field? Will future versions support key-analysis too?

And I want a setting to change the temporary directory. And make it right from the beginning by allowing me to specify at least two temp dirs (think: powerbook with external drive connected)

For now, you can only enter the key - hendriks73

Key detection is certainly an interesting feature and we are entertaining the idea for a future version. No promises though.

For now, you can manually enter the key (select song, slow click on the key column). It is used in the matching algorithm - i.e. songs that are in the same key, the dominant, subdominant or tonic parallel will be ranked higher.

Regarding temp dirs: Currently beaTunes uses the system temp directory. The space is mostly needed for the currently analyzed decompressed audio file.
