Existing users, 
Civ 4 was faster on my ibook (1.2Ghz) than on my G5 (1.8Ghz).
With this update it's now really fast on the G5.
Impressive update ! really !

I have a dual-core 2.3GHz G5 PowerMac I bought this January, and while this update does help with the fans turning on and never turning off, it's still rather slow. I wouldn't attempt it on a machine that much lower than the minimum requirements.Monday, July 17 2006 @ 09:02 PM PDT
