Minuteur is the kind of app that does one thing extremely well. It is a timer app and that is all. The interface is elegant and simple to use, merely drag the "ruler" to set the time, or use the nicely hidden popup for your preset countdowns.

I have only a few minor interface quibbles with the all too identical buttons:

1. when counting down, why is the green button lit up and the stop button dim? Certainly while running the green button should be dim, and the red button lit (it only lights on hover)

2. The pause button should also be yellow all the time.

3. The count up button should have an arrow or something (perhaps a button with an arrow that flips depending on state).

But these are so minor to be almost negligible. A great app!
