The fact that I'm required to register with this SonicSwap site just to use the app, and I assume by default (although I'm sure I have the option to not do so) begin sharing my playlist information with that site is a total turnoff. It may work fine, and you certainly can't beat the price... I just think reference to the SonicSwap nonsense should be included in the software description and not buried in the "software requirements". That's just me.

Didn't bother. - sonicswap

Cover art comes from the sonicswap site. SonicSwap has to match your tracks collection against commercially released CD titles in order to figure out what cover art to add to your tracks. Playlist sharing involves exchanging data across unconnected networks, so again this involves the SonicSwap site. The membership and software are free. Privacy is maintained on all the data, and you can control who sees any of your data. SonicSwap founders hate spam as much as you do, so all email addresses are protected and only used for system messages.

So basically signing up on SonicSwap is like registering a free software application.
