Sure. This program makes a good April Fool's joke. No one is denying that.

But, it is also a VERY effective software program for pixel-level cleansing of tired old monitors, computer displays that have simply lost their lustre. The actual mechanism, the actual chemistry and physics of the screen restoration varies from monitor to monitor. (CRTs are very different technologies than LCDs, afterall) But most agree that before and after tests conclusively demonstrate that ScreenCleaner Pro is the best software available for the restoration of most commercially available computer monitors today.

After just one cleaning cycle, I noticed huge improvements in color, saturation, hue, dimensionality, and even screen resolution and refresh rate. Further cycles seemed to deepen the cleansing effect and brought out even more vivid colors and sharper more defined shapes and edges. Photos of people and nature looked so real, it became breathtaking. Best of all, ScreenCleaner Pro even improves the performance of brand new monitors. Imagine that! How much more can you ask from a simple little piece software?

ScreenCleaner Pro is a nominee for the coveted Softest Software of the Year award. Hats off to Ambrosia. Doesn't get much better than this.
