Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

but it's VERY SLOW and not too responsive. Seeing lots of beachball action just trying to do....well, anthing!

And this is on a dual 2ghz g5 -

Also not very intuitive...had to poke around a bit before figuring out what was happening.

The tag fixing feature is extremely cool however, so hopefully the other features can be simplified, or at least sped up for the next release.

Tip: If you are switching a lot between beaTunes and other applications, beaTunes will reload the entire iTunes library each time you switch back to beaTunes, in order to show you the data that is current in iTunes. If you do not manipulate data in iTunes, this is actually unnecessary and can be avoided. Just open Preferences > General and uncheck 'Synchronize with iTunes on window activation'. This should eliminate a lot of blueball action.

If you want to force a synchronization with iTunes just go to File > Synchronize (or Shift-Command-Y).

Hope this helped.
