Sorry about the confusion, but that's not accurate.The basic functionality of creating "pseudo" files currently works without a demo or registered password, version 1.1.1. Registering unlocks various advanced options in the Preferences.
I did change the license to "shareware" from "freeware" however, and that error occurred because someone (not me, the developer) updated the listing.
