Unbelievable. Total incompetence. Not only do you need to enter your serial number to download this update, but you then need to enter your serial number into the application itself again or it will not run.
But WAIT, there's more... While waiting for you to enter your serial number, with nothing on your screen but the window for entering your serial, Freeway decides it needs 100% of your CPU, constantly, just waiting for your serial, that's all. The fans on my MacBook Pro went NUTSO!
Well done Freeway! By the way, did you fix any bugs in this mammoth 55MB update? How about publishing a list of changes.

Still requires serial number and 100% CPU use while waiting for it!! - diarbyrag
I'm put fan because I'm not a geek. and anyway Adobe's useless support for golive forced me to look for an alternative product I live in England and UK support for Adobe is in India !!!Softpress email support is a million times better than Abobe and many others I could list. Do Apple list all theirs ?
If you like the product the email forum gives you help and latest update info before it even gets to VT. sign up for it.
I agree at least a link to the kb update info from VT would be good
but it might not be Softpress's fault ( maybe the list of improvements/fixes was a it bit to long for VT)
Point taken tho :-)

List of "what's new" would be nice - twicks
Yes, I know I could go to the SP site and try to locate the KB article that describes what's new with this version, but that's pretty counterproductive. Just think about it: We note on VT that there's a new version. We also note that there's no "what's new" info. Hey, we're already at VT, why should we go click on the link to go to the developer's site (which takes for-ever via VTs strange redirects), then go try to locate the KB article, then open it and read it. How many hits does SP take of people looking for the KB article? Why not put that info up on VT and please a few casual and serious users rather than force (and I do mean force) users to tiptoe through the Internet when most developers give you this info on VT. Why does VT even have a "What's New" section for developers anyway? The program's a great one but I really think it's cavalier and draconian of software houses to not publish thier fixes and improvements right here on VT.

Apolgies for the triple posting of the "what's new" comment - twicks
For some reason when i hit the "submit" button I got an error so i submitted again. I turned into three, which I did not intend. Sorry for the wasted bandwidth. VT won't let you edit or delete comments once submitted.Tuesday, July 04 2006 @ 01:05 AM PDT

if you had bothered to check the Freeway knowledgebase before you had a whine you would find there is a very informative list of all the fixes which was on the website at the same time as the updatewhich I downloaded with no hassel at 5.30pm GMT
http://www.softpress.com/kb/article.php?id=750
and despite a few hiccups I still think that Softpress do a better job than adobe, wacom and many others when it comes to providing info
best wishes
