I've never played Lumines, but Lumox 2 is becoming very addictive for me. It's got the right level of progressive challenge to keep me wanting one more game. The tunes fit the gameplay very well, but it's nice that now you can change the music to your own if you want. (I haven't tried that yet.) I think it's well worth the $10 cost when there are plenty of less compelling games out there going for $20 these days.
