Then we have to wait (at least a few days) for the new one to be available.
I recommend that the developer either (a) anticipate and test new versions (along with thousands of other developers), or (b) allow US to try his older version with the newer Safari.

In less strong words I's say that it is a bit inconvenient. While *I* can live with it, I keep getting calls from friends & family, switchers, who are in a mild state of panic each time again. Talking them through reinstallation each time a new version comes out is slightly annoying as well, although that is mainly because their level of knowing how to do stuff. Or the lack thereof... An easier way to get a new version and install it would be a blessing for me. Something along the lines of 'a new version is available, do you want to install this?'But at the end it is just a small price for such a fine program :)

I find the way the way some people complain really obnoxious. Mike's always pretty much up to date and the updates are free. A couple of days is no big deal. Of course, if you were prepared to pay for the update, I'm sure Mike would turn it around faster.Reply to This
