When the heck is Apple going to allow us to navigate by Artist and Album from within a playlist? I've seen this request all over the place including all over Apple's forums. Navigating to a song title in a playlist of any size is totally unusable.

I'm talking about while using my iPod, not iTunes. iTunes is a terrific application and I really don't have many complaints at all. The interface on the iPod itself needs some tweaking though...Cory

Hit apple + B which gives you the browse option in any playlist.Alternatively use the search colum and type in an artist name.

You should ask them for Folder support, which is far more logical, though maybe patent infringement.. (i think creative has something about hierarchal menus)you can also just Sort the playlists to Artist in iTunes, then when the playlist is on the iPod and you kindof remember the name of the artist, it shouldn't be hard to find his/her songs.. that is what I do.. suits me just fine
