Finder crashing constantly

Does anyone have this problem too, after applying the combo update, Finder keeps on crashing and relaunching after about every 2 minutes. I guess I might the only person who is having this problem. Help is appreciated

Finder crashing constantly - dangercracker

I have the same problem. What's the solution? (I don't have a pay account on the MacFixIt site or I'd check it out for myself)
I have an iMac iLife G4 1G ram 80G HD OS updated from 10.4.6 to 10.4.7 using Software Update combo updater.
Was able to log in to an alternate account and everything works fine. Just curious what happened to the main account with this update? Any suggestions?
