"Improvement: Saft shortcut to simulate mouse click on sumbit button when found."
How do you activate this feature? Seems useful, but I can't seem to find it in the preferences box or documentation.
thanks.

I think they mean for when your filling in a form, and you hit enter, it will find and click the 'submit' button for you, rather than you having to click it yourself.I could be wrong, but i think thats right

This feature is related to Saft shortcuts that you add from the contextual menu of an input field. Then when you use it, Saft will go to that page, fill in the input fields and submit the form for you.The difference is that in older version, Saft do a direct form submit, and with this new feature, Saft will try to find a submit button first - if found, it will submit the form by clicking on the button instead.
This feature is added due to some user reports about a mis-behaving site, that turned out to check that you really click the submit button.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. I _would_, however, like to see something like what I originally thought this feature was referring to, which is to find the submit button for any form you are filling out and simulate clicking on it when you hit "return". Usually hitting return submits the form properly, but sometimes it insists on you clicking the submit button. I think this feature might be too hard though, so forms come in so many variations.Wednesday, June 28 2006 @ 07:56 PM PDT
