Serial Number Not Valid

Feedback Type:  Commentary

Contributed by: garybalionis Friday, June 23 2006 @ 04:28 PM PDT

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

This update will not work with my current serial number. Have tried contacting the developer, and have yet to get a response.
More perplexing, the older 3.7.1 will not work if you try to reinstall it.
This is not good, from an otherwise excellent piece of software that I've been relying on for a long time.

Serial Number Not Valid - garybalionis

Got a new serial number from the developer, and with very quick response.
Said that a range of serial numbers had been printed on the internet and they'd chosen to lock those numbers out for this update.
All's well again with this excellent utility.

Serial Number Not Valid - gskibum

I thought it was really cool of the developer to lock my serial number because somebody else used someone else's serial number.

Real cool.

I just moved on to the other free apps that do the same thing without all the bureaucracy.
