Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: YES

I'm happy to see that this app has much improved with image quality and stability. This is also the only (free) program that easily allows you to save the audio file out of a movie file.

Yeah, but you can use iMovie and export audio, but eh.. it takes a while (depending on your movie)

Much Improved - macnerd10

I could not make it to work on Intel. Besides, the video quality after avi>mpeg conversion is unacceptable.
The pictures on the web site are misleading - the actual player does not look like the one pictured.
Support is sleeping...

AudioExtractor freeware will rip the audio from a dvd. It requires VLC, also free to rip from a commercial dvd. Get it here: http://homepage.mac.com/andreaepicoco/software.html

Andrea Epicoco also has other freeware, including Tele2DVD that will take mp2 video files and without recoding, make a dvd dmg that burned as an image file is tabletop dvd playable.
