Great But...

Feedback Type:  Troubleshooting Report

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 6-12 months

Recommend Product: YES

Really like this and like it shows the power and flexibility of Mail. I find though that it frequently locks Mail up tight. I took it out and the problem went away, put it in and it came back. Adjusted the 'update iCal' frequency and the problem seemed to change accordingly. I now run with iCal not running and have not had the problem in several hours. A guess would be that there is a synchronous Apple Event being sent from MT to iCal which is not getting a response?

Great But... - Wm. Cerniuk

Update: Noted that the close preferences problem is back. Sometimes when I try to close the preferences with MailTags installed, I cannot until I select the MailTags preference.. then it closes.

Completely removed MailTags and Mail.app is rock solid again. Lockups of Mail seemed to coincide with mail sends when online only.

*Really* like the software's function. Attaching todo's with a link back to the mail item is hotel sierra. Did not realize how much I depended upon it until I ditched MailTags.
