it's very nice already, BUT totally unusable even on a €2500 machine because of its slowness. It's sluggish! Some people complain about Terminal.app delaying software compiles by a double digit percentage of the total time required and thus recommend xterm to do stuff like that, I don't even want to begin to think what they would say of iTerm. Btw, it also doesn't seem to be doing transparency very well, at least with black background, because it constantly stays 100% dark. I hope these "show-stoppers" can be taken care of, because otherwise I love this particular piece of free software :)
