I was looking for a product to handle some encoding I do on a regular basis and to replace a free ripper I was using. I have a one hour long church service that needs to be converted from cd to mp3 for use on our website. Most mp3 rippers do use the L.A.M.E engine but non of them seperate the encoding and writing process like this does. The real selling point here is time. It takes 3-5 minutes to enclode the entire 1 hour long service then the writing is done in the background so I can put in another cd to rip. At first I must say I thought $14.95 for a bit high for a product that several free applications can do. However the time it saves me is well worth the money. I also have to say the support for the product is very good. At first CD Stack created a couple of files that did not work. I wrote to the authors and they responded quickly and eger to help. I was not able to get CD Stack to reproduce the problem however it's been a few months and it still hasn't happened again. I upgraded to v1.0.2 today without any trouble everything is working great.
