My old mac ran OS 9 and I want to upgrade the Virex 6.1 that I ran on it so I can run the Virex 7 on my new OS X machine (on which I am not running Classic - I just don't know how to start Classic up).
Is this kind of update possible? I see that the updates only seem to be available for the 7.x versions.

you can't. OS X requires version 7 and protects Classic at the same time.Thursday, July 13 2006 @ 09:06 AM PDT

I also have version 6.x of Virex. How can I get version 7 that will work with OS 10.4? A Google search unearthed little.Saturday, April 21 2007 @ 09:52 PM PDT
