In Mac OS X 10.2 and earlier, it was possible to display invisble files and folders in the Open dialog (and it's supported in Iceberg) but Apple killed this feature with 10.3. ("The computer needs to be user centric" moto in all its glory).

If you have a solution to display these invisible files (for hidden folders Command + Shift + G usually does the job), don't hesitate to suggest it; I would be glad to add your name in the Credits list.

Invisible fies can be added. I've done this with a dot-file, but can't foresee a problem with Finder-invisible files or folders. It's a work-around, but a manageable one.

Create a new temp folder somewhere. Use the Terminal to copy the invisible file to your new temp folder. Add that temp folder to your Iceberg package project. Within Iceberg, right-click on the temp folder and select Expand > Fully.

Taa-daa.

Drag your invisible file/folder to its intended place and delete the temp folder from the project window. Make package. Enjoy.

This was suggested to me by P.G. Eric Benfer.
