The developer may want to consider adding a customizable delay to the auto-open of the tab (and balloon), as well as a customizable delay before Edgies offers to make a new note.
As it stands now, the immediate activation of the balloon and immediate auto-opening of a collapsed note when moused over have made me turn those features off.
