When it provides comparison of binary files, then it might be worth the price tag. Until then, I'll be happy to use the "free" command line tools.

Starting with version 3.0, zsCompare does provide the ability to compare files as binary. You will need the Standard Edition or higher to do the binary comparisons.Reply to This
