Word and Excel got encryption support a couple versions back., but of course, powerpoint the only one i need it in doesn't have it!!

Darn it, when are they going to allow for that. I'm having to install parallels on my Macbook and run PP within windows to play a stupid encrypted PP presentation.

Still no encryption support in Powerpoint - stupahead

I sympathize and have exactly the same problem. I bought this product (Office 2008) precisely and, for the most part, solely because I thought it would allow me to exchange files with my PC-using colleagues, and it is a real disappointment, not to mention pain in the a**, that after waiting all these months and so on, I still can't read PowerPoint files.

Does anyone know why this lameness persists and when, if ever, they're planning to fix it?
