Does anyone know if this update adds the same kind of 'phone home' 'feature' that the latest MS 'security' updates to Windows has added?

So what if it does? Every Mac owner should invest in LittleSnitch, regardless of whether you have legitimate software or not. Some legit software tries to phone home, and I personally want to know when it attempts doing that. And now with more viruses appearing on the Mac, Little Snitch is more important than ever.
