Product Platform:

Used Product For: Over One Year

After 3 & 1/2 years a new version is offered without any explanation about what has been added or changed. I'm using V 1.1 from 12/03 and "it ain't broke" so why should I try this new version which might break my Sony Clie TG 50. I visited their website and there no comments or mention of V 1.2. I checked their "FAQS" and nothing about V 1.2 either. What gives???

What's new in version 1.2 and why should I download and install it? - corepromos

This product is now being developed by a new team. the original developer passed away a couple of years ago, and it is nice to see that somebody has picked up the reins. There is a website http://www.launcherxplanet.com/ where the developers have posted news as to what is up. But basically this is just a maintenance release that adds support for the newer file system (NVFS) on devices such as the Treo 700p, Treo 650, TX, LifeDrive, Tungsten E2, Tungsten T5 and Z22, which didn't exist when version 1.1 was released.
