Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

The wheel in the menu bar just keeps spinning since updating. I've repaired the preferences and restarted the computer but the problem persists. So I'm back to nothing for my money!

Program broken with 1.5 update - jonn8n

As the developer, it's frustrating when someone posts a message like this without first contacting me to see if the issue can be resolved. If you try in good faith to correct an issue and it doesn't work, I'm all for negative reviews -- if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. However, I suspect your issue can be easily resolved by simply quitting the application (if it's open) and then deleting the preferences. The preferences can be found in your local preferences folder:

~/Library/Preferences/com.jen.eabm.plist

By removing this file, the application will revert to its "factory defaults" and should launch. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact me for further assistance.

Program broken with 1.5 update - BeeBop2

Can't take the heat? Keep out of the kitchen.

Why should I have to delete preferences to get a program to work again? If I had to do this with every update I'd lose a substantial part of my life.

The program you have created is a good idea and I purchased it. I didn't break it, your update did. I still think it is a good idea, but care with your comments to customers or I might say goodbye.

Program broken with 1.5 update - Piotr Grella-Mozejko

Never used this programme, but am convinced that replacing Preferences is not such a hardship. Some bigger, more widely used programmes occasionally require dumping Prefs, or replacing them with saved old ones, Finale being the main evildoer here (it always replaces old prefs with the new version's; extremely annoying, I agree, but not undoable if you're prudent).

Best,

PIOTR
