Cabos will search for and find files, but it does not download on my dial-up connection. I tried different prefernces, deleting the old preference file, and nothing worked.
Both Limewire and Acqlite work well on my system. Acqlite gives me the best results and has the most refined GUI of any Gnutella client I've tried.
Cabos's GUI is butt-ugly and has no place on a Mac. It feels like a cheesy Java app that was built for Linux and sloppily ported to OS X. I do not recommend this app, but I'm not giving it a low star rating since I cannot even get it to work, while it does work for others according to the other VT reports.

Doesn't work on dial-up - wondrack_dotmac
While I can't speak to it working on a dial-up (why!?) I can speak to it's simple, clean interface and it's tight integration with OSX.Cabos shares the same layout and graphic look/feel as iTunes. Your review (and desire to use dial-up) makes me wonder if you're using the most current version, OSX and iTunes.
