Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

Recommend Product: YES

A nice, simple little app that works. It gives you the basic navigation info from the GPS. The monitor window is also damn useful when you want to know if the port-serial converter-driver mess is working while you're still indoors without GPS signal.

My thoughts:

-The "no data in 1.5 minutes" warning dialog is irritating. A "no fix" or "no data" message in the main display would work just as well and would avoid the pesky bouncing dock icon too.

-You can force the panes to slide out on the other side by putting the main window near the edge of the screen. It won't remember this between sessions though.

-gpsd support would be grand.
