Won't start up - Robinxoog

Haven't heard of this happening to anyone else - I'm using 10.4.6, and it works with lots of other folks running new and previous versions of 10.4. Do you have gpsdX installed? That (or another installation of gpsd) is required to run it.

If you could send me a more detailed description of what happened to you, I'd be keen to help you troubleshoot!

I got and installed the program you installed and its starts now however it doenst see my GPS unit. If you post an email address I would be happy to send you the info for my GPS unit for you to figure out.

I get the following error.

Hi there,

Sorry it's taken me a while to get back to this comment thread. It sounds like you now need to configure gpsdX on your system - run the utility called "gpsdX Config" which was installed in your Applications directory. Then it should all work for you.

There's now an FAQ on the web site, and you can e-mail me at robin@grandhighwizard.net.

Cheers,
Robin
