I've used TTP for years, and I run it weekly as preventative maintenance, as I use my computer about 12 hours per day.
Optimizing seems much slower in 4.1.2 as compared to 4.1.1.
Looking forward to being able to use it on my MacBook Pro.

Optimization much slower in 4.1.2 - drdocument
Thanks.A more thorough optimization? Not sure what this would be.
Optimizing that took 15-20 minutes in ver. 4.1.1 took almost 3 hours in ver. 4.1.2.
If I optimize weekly (which has been my routine), does faster file access save me two or three hours a week?
Just a thought.

DrDocument,After running the 1st optimization with 4.1.2, have subsequent optimizations also taken 2-3 hours as well? I have not yet installed the latest version, but was wondering if they went about their optimization a little different in this update, hence the 1st time through might take a little longer.

Just guessing, maybe because it's doing a more thorough job?For top-notch optimizing, try iDefrag.
