I think this app is abandonware...

Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

I paid good (most would say way too much) for this software, however there are no updates, no news, nothing. The developer does not even respond to it's paying customers questions!

We badly need a Universal Binary version of this program, but there is no word about this anywhere.

Anyone who is looking for a dock replacement - look elsewhere. I did. I just paid for DragThing which is already Universal Binary even though the developer was in the hospital!

Save your money and pass on this program which is dying on the vine - sad too.

I think this app is abandonware... - blizzaster

Yeah, I agree. This app could have been a real winner, but it is the sort of app which has to be under pretty much constant development to stay on top. Bummer, but this one isn't doing that. And, yes, I'm a registered user too.

I think this app is abandonware... - Softchaos_Support

From Softchaos Support.

Firstly, WorkStrip has not been abandoned. We are working on a new version.

Secondly, even though version 3.2.3 runs under Rosetta there is no noticeable speed penalty for doing so, and no loss of functionality.

Finally, we always try to respond to every support question within 1 working day. If the original poster did not receive a reply, then could he please email us his question again and we will look into why it was not answered. It could be something as simple as a spam blocker or an incorrectly entered email address in the support form on our web site.
