Are you using an Intel or PowerPC mac? and what version of Java is installed (to see your java version open the Terminal and type "java -version")?

You may also want to open Console and see if there is an error message there from Azureus.

I ALso have macbook pro. I had the same bouncing icon with open office app and it disappeared. I think the open office app was not loaded correctly. Thanks for the alert on this application. My mac book pro is only a few weeks old. I don't want to feeed it food it will choke on. I will wait for bugs to be fixed first. thx.

Quits on startup? - sfn--2008

You need to update SWT. Download the latest version form http://www.eclipse.org/swt/ (I used the dev version) and then copy the files to your azureus installation, where the previous files where, in Resouces/Java inside the Azureus app package.
