Well, on my Intel Mac I can have 3 types of binaries:
1. Native PowerPC - they will run in rosetta
2. Universal Binary - they contain both Intel x86 and PowerPC and will automatically use the Intel x86 code on my machine
3. Native Intel x86.

So maybe this tool is a number 3 tool? Will check and confirm later...

yes for intel .. and NO reason to be a UB .. its not like there is a core duo PPC
