This looks promising!
1) I would like to include mpeg4/or H.264/QT video into my lectures - does profcast support this?
2) Is there a way to record my lecture with a "Tele-promter" in other words iSight records me looking straight at camera, but I can read my speach from the Mac Screen?
(Any User's recommend a Mac Telepromter application?)
3) Can prof cast be exported to Logic Pro / DVD Studio Pro / Final Cut or just Garage Band?
4) I use "Goldfish" instead of iWeb. Can Profcast import to "Goldfish" or Freeway Pro or other web apps or just iWeb?

Record & publish live presentations as podcasts.

Feature Request and Question for Developer - humbledaisy
Hi Paul,1.) ProfCast does not currently support this. As the enhanced podcast standards continue to evolve, so will ProfCast. One of the primary design goals of ProfCast was do the capture of presentations in the enhanced podcast format REALLY REALLY well! I think we have done a very good job of this. We will continue to look at ways to improve ProfCast for our customers, while we remain focused on providing a very good solution for providing enhanced podcasts.
2.) Again, I am sorry to say that ProfCast does not record video of the presenter. A future version of ProfCast will likely support video as an option.
3.) ProfCast media files (m4b) can be imported into other applications that support importing from the m4b format. We provide support for publishing your recording into Garage Band 3 directly because it has the ability to handle enhanced podcast editing.
4.) We are looking at providing integration support for other applications, but it might make more sense for the developers of the other programs to provide import plug ins for rss and enhanced podcasts. ProfCast generates standard RSS and m4b files that can easily be imported to other applications that support rss and m4b. It's not that we don't want to support all of the options, but we do want to be smart about how we allocate our resources.
I do appreciate your questions and your taking a look at ProfCast! Let us know if we can be of further assistance.
