Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Less than a month

Recommend Product: NO

I tried Navicat on a Mac. I am a long term user or CocoaMysql. I actually like the capabilities of this product, especially the SSH tunneling. However, I find the help system to be nearly useless. My first problem was that I tried to make a backup of a database. I got a completion message, but have no idea where to find the file that it creates. The docs do not illuminate. The knowledge base answer at the Navicat site is only pertinent to the PC version. I'm not going to buy it, as the docs don't give me the confidence that I won't screw up my database.
