Product Platform:

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: YES

Except that I have an Intel iMac and I don't have Boot Camp installed.
Thing is Acrobat did run on my setup. I believe that one of Apple's updates caused some kind of incompatibility with Acrobat.

Acrobat freezes the whole system and the solution is to hard reset.
Yesterday I reinstalled OS and today I reinstalled Acrobat. Same situation.

I'm pretty certain it's a software issue generated by Apple.

Same situation as johnharbo - llosubscribe

This is awful! I called Apple and they told me to reinstall CS2... or call Adobe. The Apple guy explained that Adobe had the 10.4.6 update weeks before it was released, and that they should have worked out the kinks by now... whatever. I paid $350 for AppleCare, and I expect them not only to care, but to fix the things that they screw up with updates! EVERYTHING WAS FINE UNTIL 10.4.6.

Try reloading the Mac, then downloading the install file for the 10.4.5 update from Apple's site and installing that manually. Then use Software Update to install the 10.4.6 update. I was having the same problems you were, and this seems to have helped.
