Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: 1-6 months

I agree with others it is much easier and better to control in Energy saver System Preference panel.

Better yet buy a Bekin UPS insteall of APC and you get a free control application called Bulldog Plus which perform rings around APC's software.

PowerChute is a complete waste of time & space - rev.emilio

incidentally, the Belkin Bulldog app is pretty crappy, too. the bottom line is that OS X UPS support sucks.

PowerChute is a complete waste of time & space - Charles Calthrop

I am running 10.4.8 and energy saver works fine with my APC Smart UPS. I found the log produced by Powerchute useful. Perhaps APC should separate the logging facility from the portion of Powerchute provided by energy saver.
