If you download from the London Mirror you get an old version.
My email to Real (13 May 2006):
"I think there is something wrong with your mirroring software. I note that RealPlayer 10.1 (build 412) came out today.
From London it is 8.1MB (an old version).
From Seattle it is 11.6MB (the correct new version."
Response (13 May 2006):
"I apologize that I have been unable to resolve this issue. Your case is being escalated to our Level 2 e-mail team. You will receive a response as soon as possible."

Same here. I tried the Hannover mirror with same effect. Eventually I went to www.real.com and followed the links to the Free Player. I ended up here <http://forms.real.com/real/player/blackjack.html?platform2=Mac%20OS%20X&product=RealPlayer%2010&proc=g3&lang=&show_list=0&src=021705realhome_1_2_2_1_1_3,macjack> which worksSunday, May 14 2006 @ 10:04 AM PDT

I wonder if this is because the Universal Binary doesn't seem to work with BBC content - a widespread use of RealPlayer in the UK. For me anyway, the BBC's streaming content became unusable with the new version, so I've had to roll back.Monday, May 15 2006 @ 12:17 PM PDT
