Has anyone checked to see if the new version of QT no longer causes DiskWarrior to crash at the end of a repair?

Never had this problem. Do you have latest edition of DW?

The problem was specific to 7.0.4, and was widely reported and experienced, and even acknowledged by Alsoft.

DiskWarrior "ding" puzzle - sjk

Awhile ago I renamed Complete.aiff to keep DW from crashing with QT 7.0.4. Just recently I noticed DW still plays the same "ding" sound as in that file after it finishes repairs, which seems peculiar because the filename string is hardcoded in the DW binary(!) Anyone got an explanation for that?

Having just contacted Alsoft again on this one they advised trashing the Complete.aiff file - and it still "dings"!

Yes, still an untidy exit when finished. Back to QT 6.5.2:-(

Have just noticed that "The QuickTime 6.5.2 reinstaller will remove QuickTime 7.0.1 from a Mac OS X 10.3.9 system and restore QuickTime 6.5.2." Anyone tried it with QT 7.1?
