I am going to revert back to older version. The program takes 1 min to start and every time it requires you set the compression and FPS rate, and it crashes 30% of the time. It appears there is a bug. I have a macbook pro. Hopefully they fix soon

Did you take the time to notify the developers of this problem? Complaining on VersionTracker about crashes is no guarantee that anyone who can actually do something to solve the problem will be aware of it.
