Thanks brossow for posting the mirror and your response. Yes you need to set the destination directory in preferences. Will add to the list to create the GoBack dir if it doesn't exist.
If you have problems, please post your current OS version, hardware (intel not supported), and anything else that you think might help to find the problem. I only have two macs to test this on, so I'm sure problems will pop up on different systems.
The next version will include a queue and logging and error detection.
I have tested the Tivo Desktop 1.9.3 GoBack hack, and it seems to work like a charm. See this thread to enable it. Be sure to open TCP ports 2190, 5353, 8101 on your firewall.
If you have problems, throw up a post or send me an email, and I'll try my best to help.

Are you using the newer version? 0.2b? If not, try it out with this new version. Before you hit go, open up "console" (/Applications/Utilities/Console) and copy the Tivoizer log info and put it in an email to me at half.italian@gmail.comI'll see what I can find.

I'm having (what seems like) the same issue. Running Tivoizer .2b on an 800Mhz iBook w/ Tiger 10.4.6. The console shows a fair amount of DEBUG info, but this is what seems to be the problem:Error while opening codec for output stream #0.1 - maybe incorrect parameters such as bit_rate, rate, width or height
Trying to convert a h264 trailer for Cars from the Apple website.
Thanks.

I cannot get this application to work on G5 Dual-Quad. After pressing TiVoize button it shows the progress bar for a millesecond, then disappears, then does nothing.Reply to This
