I've been using CADmover for years and while there are other ways of moving data around - using filters within your CAD package or art package, for example. The CADmover translations (for the versions supported) are solid and reliable.
My chief complaint is that it has not been ported to OSX. This is the only application that I find I need on occasion that requires me to boot into Classic.
We routinely use this to do solid translations to and from Adobe Illustrator to DWG, DXF and IGS formats. While we have many high-end CAD packages available, we still rely on CADmover for a good translation - despite the need to boot classic.
Support is lackluster at best, though.
