Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Have Not Tried

It would be nice to know what's changed and what might have been fixed. Until that information is available here or a link to the page on their website stating what's changed than I for one won't be upgrading.

EMC/Dantz, if the smallest of developers can manage to provide that sort of information about changes to their products, why can't you? Please get your act together.

That link took me to an article about "Net Retry error after upgrading to Retrospect 6.1"

I found this in Dantz's knowledgebase, but only because I was digging hard for it:

http://kb.dantz.com/display/2n/kb/article.asp?aid=9511

TITLE: Retrospect Client Security Vulnerability Fixes

It lists this 6.1.130 version of the client as containing the fix.

There may be other fixes that are on other knowledgebase pages that also are in this kit. But a search for 6.1.130 or 6_1_130 results in no search matches.

And now that link sends you to an error page:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Line 1: Incorrect syntax near '='.

/display/2n/kb/article.asp, line 13
