Hello,
I have a problem with my G5. As I have noticed by enabling
"put the computer to sleep when it is inactive for:" in the
"energy settings" preference pane, my monitors remain
entirely black. Nothing helps except the fact to press
the power button of my G5 for several seconds in order
to force a restart.
I have never brought any attention to this problem due
to the fact that I have mosty disabled this feature on my
G5 Dual workstation.

I have another cool and ironic idea for your new Apple
AD campaign. It looks like this.
Screenplay:
---------
Two people standing in a white colored empty room.
One person is the CEO of Apple Computer "Steve Jobs".
The other actor is simple "Mac User".
Mac User: " ... ahem (tapping on the shoulder of Steve Jobs)
Mac User: " I am a Mac User and I have to deal with Mac
Problems too."
Steve Jobs: "... G5? ... this is obsolete ... old ... out-of-date ... vintage!"
Mac User: " What is worse? A PC that has to be restarted
or a Mac that doesn't wake up from sleep at all?"
Steve Jobs: "Don't pay any attention to this problem. Go and
get a new Intel PC (=Mac)
---------
I believe both major computer companies have to deal with
the same problems in the end. The problems just don't look
the same. However, problems do exist ... on both platforms ;)
So far to that point from an honest Mac User.
Keep smiling ;)
graphically & sincerely,

I paid for VersionTracker Alerts, not this!Alert me when I need to update software. Don't alert me to read a commentary on something that has no impact on me or my computer. My computer wakes up fine, thanks and I can read opinions anywhere on the web.
