Sorry, I would like to like this program but its clunky interface just fights me off. I've sold things a half-dozen times on ebay using the ebay website, now I have a bunch more and want to prepare the auctions offline. This program ought to do it, and it apparently does for some people but I just can't get into it. Every single thing I want to do requires another trip to the online manual and "huh?" and then poke around its menus and window and back to the manual and "eh?" and back to the menus. It is just totally confusing; nothing matches up to the work flow I expect. I've been at it two hours now and still have not completed one crummy listing. It starts with the problem that you don't prepare an "auction" you prepare a "template" -- that would make sense except that in order to make a "template" you have to fill in all the details of a very specific "auction". You edit the "description" in a text window, except that when you go to the Preview, there is a box headed "Description" with a number of items that you don't edit as part of the "description" but instead using a menu Template: Edit Item Attributes, and try finding that in the manual! Hah!. And it just goes on like that. I totally give up, I can put in ten items using ebay's web page faster than editing one "template" here.

Gosh, I don't mean to be rude but if you don't get along with this I'm not sure you'll get along with anything. It's about as easy as it can get. I'm no genius, but I've never had to consult the manual & it saves me hours of time creating my auctions.Really is a 'No brainer'
Click on 'new auction' template in the template bar.
Enter the item for sale in the Title
Add any images using the + in the window below
check the design box to pick a cool design for your ad
Enter a description of the item in the window below that.
Enter the sale price in the panel to the right
Congratulations on making your eBay advert.
Excellent app & great value @ $25

It is to bad that dcortesi does not get along with GarageSale but it is not GarageSales or dcortesi fault. Some people just can't work with the flow the same as others. Just because it is called a templet does not mean it is not an auction, it is just an auction waiting to happen. And when you sell many of the same items over and over, the templet/sample auction you have set up can be started with a couple of clicks it can even be set to start anytime you want.Reply to This
