Product Platform: MacOSX

Used Product For: Over One Year

Recommend Product: NO

Please stop using Stuffit to compress files. Zip is open source and comes native in OS X 10.3 and above. The only reason anyone needs Stuffit Expander is because some people still compress files with Stuffit. Please, please don't compress files with Stuffit.

Please stop using Stuffit. - DavidRavenMoon

Zipping certain Mac files damages them. Tiger retains the resource fork when zipping, but earlier versions of OS X, as well as most other forms of Zip do not.

I see too many useless Zip archives sent into my job, with damaged PostScript fonts to advise anyone to Zip files on Macs.

Stuffing is safer.
