Please stop using Stuffit to compress files. Zip is open source and comes native in OS X 10.3 and above. The only reason anyone needs Stuffit Expander is because some people still compress files with Stuffit. Please, please don't compress files with Stuffit.
Please stop using Stuffit. - DavidRavenMoon
Zipping certain Mac files damages them. Tiger retains the resource fork when zipping, but earlier versions of OS X, as well as most other forms of Zip do not.I see too many useless Zip archives sent into my job, with damaged PostScript fonts to advise anyone to Zip files on Macs.
Stuffing is safer.
